The beauty of health and fitness is its always moving and evolving, with science and your own desires.
When you start a journey in pursuit of improved of health, common thoughts are “if I can just get to however many kilograms then I’ll be happy!” or “when I get my sleep to more than 7.5 hours per night, I’ll feel like a million bucks!”
The truth of the matter is, when you avail those goals, a new set of targets get undoubtedly uncovered. When you join a gym or a program, you might walk in with a set of goals and preconceptions on your potential and what you hope to achieve.
After spending time with likeminded people, other challenges or inspirations will present!
A novice walking into the gym for the very first time doesn’t even know certain exercises existed, it’s only after they start, that their desired path gets uncovered!
We are not suggesting that you shouldn’t be happy with yourself or what you have achieved! It’s important to look back and celebrate how far you have come! 🥳🥳🥳
But know that the notion of a “summer body” is never-ending. There is a popular saying in the fitness industry that “summer bodies are built in the winter.”
However, here at Best Body Co., we would say instead that “summer bodies are built over years, decades and lifetimes.” Health is a moving target and always needs to be worked on. If you’re aiming to start to get to a place, then stop… you need to readjust your thinking!
We’re an accumulation of every single thing we eat, drink, do and think about. Whether we like it or not, you will be either moving in the direction of health or the opposite… moving away from your long term goals and achievements.
